Május 10-én, vasárnap, a Budapesti Piarista Gimnázium idén hármadik alkalommal vett részt a 2026-os Budapest100 rendezvényen. A fesztivál témája idén a 100 évforduló volt. Mi iskolaépületünk, Hültl Dezső építész (1913-1918) művének 100. születésnapját ünnepeltük.
Az egész napos program során több mint 130 magyar és külföldi vendég látogatott el hozzánk. 4 vezetett túrát tartottunk három nyelven a Piarista Központban. Megmutattunk a budapesti piarista székház két épületét (a gimnázium és a Sapientia főiskola); a piarista kápolnát és rend eredeti ebédlőjét; a tetőteraszt és a könyvtárat gazdag könyvgyűjteményével. A nap záróeseménye a kápolnában tartott koncert volt, ahol a vendégek a Lux in Tenebris Kórust és az Gergely Őri öregdiákunk orgonajátékát hallgathatták meg.
Köszönjük mindenkinek, aki hozzájárult a rendezvényhez: a Budapesti Piarista Gimnázium tanárainak és diákjainak, a Könyvtár, Levéltár és a Rend munkatársainak, az Iskola és az Ukrán Tanoda program önkénteseinek, a szervezőknek és idegenvezetőknek, előadóknek, valamint minden érdeklődőnek, aki eljött, hogy részt vegyen a programunkban.

This Sunday, May 10, Budapesti Piarista Gimnázium took part in Budapest100 architectural festival for the 3rd time since 2017. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the current buildings construction (1913-1918) by architect Dezső Hültl.
During the whole day programme we welcomed more than 130 guests from Hungary and abroad. 4 guided tours around and inside the Piarist Centre complex were held in 3 languages and included both buildings (the School and Theological College), the Piarist Chapel and former dining-room of the Piarist Order, the roof terrace and the Library with its rich collection of books. The final event of the day was the Concert in the Chapel, where the guests could admire Lux in Tenebris Choir and the organ music, performed by Gergely Őri.
We thank everyone who contributed to the event: the teachers and students of the Piarist High School; our Library, Archive and the Order colleagues, the volunteers of the School and the Ukrainian program, the organizers and tour guides, the performers and all interested guests, who came to participate in our programmes.
